'You took my hand you showed me how'
  
"Hey, Lovi?"  you asked your best friend and long time crush Lovino Vargas.
"Am I doing this right? It looks kind of weird."  
You see Lovino was teaching you how to make hand made noodles for pasta
while he did the sauce. "Idiota! Of course it looks weird, you're rolling them into balls!  Here let me show you."  He grabbed your hands and started to work them to make the noodles look right. "See? Just like that. It's easy now, si?" "S-si."  
You said blushing. Lovino raised an eyebrow at you then finally remembered
he was holding your hands. He blushed just like one of a certain someone's
tomatoes and pulled his hand back and went to go finish the sauce.

'You promised me you'd be around'

"W-what do you mean you're leaving? You promised you'd never leave!!"
You yelled tears threatining to spill from your eyes.
Your best friend/crush was leaving and going back to Italy.
'I haven't even  told him how I felt yet!' You thought.
"Bella [Name], please don't cry. I'll be back, I promise."
He said feeling guilty for being the reason you're crying.
"How can I believe you when you broke this promise!?"
Tears started to fall out of your [eye color] eyes. He froze.
'It's my fault she's crying like this...' he thought.  
"[Name}... I have to go now. My plane is going to leave soon."
He kissed your cheek. You looked up feeling your face getting hot.
"Lo-" "Ti amo, [Name]!" He yelled then ran towards the gate to his plane.
"W-wait, Lovi! What does that mean!?" You yelled earning a few looks and whispers.
"I'll tell you when I come back! Even if it takes forever!"  Then he was gone.

Your doorbell rung and it was your friend [best friend name].
"[Nickname]...  I-I have to tell you something." She said looking sad.
'Thats's strange,' you thought  '[Best friend's name] rarely ever sad.'
"What is it?" You asked.  "It's Lovino..." You froze. 'What does she mean it's Lovi?
Did something happen!? No... Maybe she came to tell me he's finally back! Yeah..!
That's it!  But... Why does she look so sad?'  "W-what about Lovi? "
You gulped afraid to know what's next. She hung her head down and started to slightly shake. "H-his plane, [Name]! They said his plane crashed!"
You thought you felt your heart stop. "No.....  No you're lying..... YOU'RE LYING!!!"
You yelled and punched her. "YOU'RE LYING!! HE PROMISED HE'D COME BACK!! HE SAID EVEN IF IT TOOK FOREVER!! ..... H-he promised...." You fell to the floor and started to cry.
Your friend left figuring you needed some alone time. 'He's not gone... He said forever.'  You thought wiping your tears away.

'I know ..... better'
'Cause you said forever ..... and ever'
'Who knew'

It's been three years almost four, and still no word from Lovino.
'He said forever...'  You kept telling yourself. 'He'll be back in no time'  
You smiled and continued making pasta just like Lovino showed you.
I remember when I dressed Lovi up in that dress. It was too cute~!

~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~

'Remember when we were such fools'
'And so convinced and just too cool'

"Come on Lovi~ You're already wearing the dress, can't you just say it. Please~~~?"
You begged him.  "No you bastard! You're lucky I'm wearing this dress!!"
He yelled face red from anger and embarrassment. You started to tear up.
"I-I'm sorry Lovino... I didn't mean to make you angry." Lovino stopped yelling.
"Fine I'll say it." You stopped crying "What did you say Lovi?"
"I said I'll say it idiota!" Your [eye color] eyes started to sparkle.
"Yay~!" You jumped up and down in excitement.
Lovino tured his head to hide his blush and the smile slowly creeping on his face.
"Okay. Ready?" You asked him. "As ready as I'll ever be" He mumbled. "Okay....Start!"
You walked toward Lovino circling around him rolling your eyes and looking him up and down. "Ugh! Who let you come out the house lookin' like that?"
You said giving him a disgusted look. Lovino walked away from you,
turned towards you, put a hand on his hip, flipped his 'long hair' and said,
"Bitch I'm fabulous!" You burst out in laughter not able to hold it in any longer.
"Damn it [Name]! I'm taking this shit off right now!"  He yelled running to your room.
"W-Wait Lovi~! I was laughing with you not at you~!"
You yelled running after him tying to stop laughing.
"You lying bastard! I wasn't laughing at all!"

You giggled at the memory. *Sigh* 'When are you coming back Lovi?'

'I wish I could touch you again'
'I wish I could still call you friend'
'I'd give anything'

It's been three years and four months since Lovino's plane crashed.
'I should have told him how I felt when I had the chance!!
I should have listen to [best friend's name] and told him when I first found out how I felt! But still he....'

'The only thing I can remember him by is the cheek he kissed me on when he left.

'Who the hell is at my door!! It's three in the morning!'  
You opened the door and froze. "No..... it can't be..."
You started to cry. You hugged the person at the door and started crying louder.
Said person smiled and hugged you back . "I'm back, bella."
